Faith Without Works

Those who tell you it is well without doing anything to help are like clouds without rain. Forget them, find something doing, and intensify prayers. People who tell you I will see what I can do are like their father the devil - bloody liars! Expect nothing from them. If you truly want to help a man help him now or die with your help. Put your trust in God alone. Your expectations of Him can never be cut short. Seldom ask people for money, especially religious folks - they won't give you a dime. They will only pray. Instead ask them to remember you in their prayers since they love praying and doing nothing to help the needy. When you do, the spiritually matured among them will know he should not just pray but give also. Selah! Never Beg to Be Loved

You may beg for anything (as situations beyond one's control may sometimes warrant) but never beg for love. Do not waste your precious time trying to convince someone to love you. Rather take time to pray for them and get them to know God. You cannot know God and not love Him. You cannot love God and not love your neighbour (1John 4:20). Selah! "Now this hope does not disappoint us, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us"...Romans 5:5. Do have a blessed week. You'll Give Account

There are a thousand and one adventures jostling up in one's soul which "must" be explored in their youth if they wouldn't lead their older years in regrets. But in all, one needs be constantly reminded that we would give account to the giver of life one day. Selah! PS: 13 Let the conclusion of all of these thoughts be heard: Fear God and obey his commandments, for this is what it means to be human. 14 For God will judge every deed, along with every secret, whether good o r evil...Ecclesiastes Do have yourself a blessed week. Scandalous Love

Image
We fell, we failed, we were such a mess. He stepped in at the right time to salvage the spoilage. He struck the right bargain. He made us a covenant. He kept His part but we couldn't keep ours - we were hopeless like that. But the scandalous love He has for us wouldn't let Him abandon us to our pitiful fate. The *ALMIGHTY GOD* became a Man (and in so doing helped us fulfill our part in the justice system - "the soul that sins must die"). Becoming a man was not enough; He beca me *SIN* itself, for that was the only way to deal with what had plagued us since The Fall. As if that was not scandalous enough, He died and went to hell! He overcame sin, death, hell, and all the authority the devil wielded over us; He didn't need the trophies - He did all for us - God became a man that man may become God, The Son of God became The Son of Man that The Son of Man may become The Son of God! On the third day He rose again and freely gave us the *VICTORY*. He has thus given u...

Faith in God's Word

Image
The reason many people struggle with believing God's word is mostly because they are not faithful to their own words. So it's understandable if they somehow think God can be just like that too - since they can't see Him anyway. If you will build strong faith, be a faithful person yourself. Let your words be your bond. Be a man/woman of your word. Believe in your own words and live by them. Let people around you be able to esteem your words highly and vouch for you. That way faith in God's Word becomes a natural thing to you. Selah! # TheWordTheSpiritAndPrayers # ImLightAndIShine

Get Knowledge

The era in which God anoints men based on just their availability is fast fading out; now the prerequisite for anointing is KNOWLEDGE (Habakkuk 2:14). We should therefore grow in the REVELATIONAL KNOWLEDGE of Christ (Eph. 1:17-21; Eph. 3:16-21; Philippians 3:10-17) because we do not need the errors these not so knowledgeable ministers (Hosea 4:6) cause in the body of Christ again. Grace is the only message of the Bible. Character flaws should be reduced, if not eliminated, to the barest minimum. Grace to you!!! # TheWordTheSpiritAndPrayers # ImLightAndIShine

He Helps Our Infirmities

Image
It's interesting how someone who cannot hold a conversation with people for ten straight minutes will spend several hours conversing with God! The Holy Spirit truly helps our "infirmities" (Romans 8:26). Smiles. # TheWordTheSpiritAndPrayers # ImLightAndIShine

DOUBLE CLICK

Text: Genesis 5:3 King James Version (KJV) 3  And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth: The word translated image is from the Greek word "eikon". It is this same word (eikon) that was translated "icon" in English. An icon in computer parlance is the summary of all the attributes or the shortcut of a computer application and/or function. A desktop icon may appear small in size but it carries in it all the features of the application it represents when clicked upon. Originally, man was created in the image of God (dominion, power, authority, ability to subdue etc.) but due to the fall, Adam lost this glory and all natural people born into the world are in the image of fallen and sinful Adam (1 Corinthians 15:49; Romans 5:17; Genesis 5:3). Thus, the natural man, no matter how moral, good, nice, philanthropic, and socially acceptable he is, he is still a sinner! Isaiah 64:...
